Pork Barbeque for a Party

Combine pork, vinegar, sugar, and salt in a large crock pot. Cook on low for eight hours. Pour off all juice and shred pork. Return to crock pot with your choice of bottled barbeque sauce.
Hint: Serve with sesame seed rolls and coleslaw

Shred one medium carrot and mix with shredded cabbage and minced onion. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, salt, Nature's Seasonings, pepper, milk, buttermilk, vinegar, lemon juice, and mayonnaise and beat until smooth. Add cabbage mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garlic Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Peel sweet potatoes, cook in a large pot of salted water (2 Tb) until fork tender. Melt butter in a small sauté pan, add garlic briefly, and cook until in just starts to change color. *
Drain potatoes, place in mixing bowl, and add garlic, butter and sour cream. Mix using an electric mixer until there no lumps. Salt and pepper to taste.
Note: Don't overcook the garlic, as it will become bitter.
Note: Never use a food processor for potatoes, as they will become glue in the processor.
Country Apple Crisp

Spray bottom of 10 X 14 baking pan with PAM; mix 1/2 of the flour and 1/3 of the sugar together.
Sprinkle enough in pan to cover bottom about 1/2 “ thick. Peel apples and cut into slices, arrange evenly around pan.
Add nuts and raisins, sprinkle on cinnamon.
Mix remaining flour and 3/4 of the remaining sugar together, cover top with remaining flour/sugar mixture, add apple juice. Sprinkle top with remaining sugar. Cut butter into small pieces and dot top of crisp. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until the top is golden brown and crunchy.
This feeds a small army and is great for picnics.
Note: This recipe serves at least 12, if you scale the servings of this recipe you will have to use a smaller pan
