Mom's Best Meat Loaf

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine beef with breadcrumbs, eggs, sour cream, and one half cup of chili sauce. Sauté onion in butter until soft and add to mixture. Mix in salt and pepper and from into a loaf shape in greased 9 by 13 baking dish. Mix remaining chili sauce with brown sugar and spread over meat loaf. Cover top with bacon slices. Bake in a 350-degree oven for one hour or until juices run clear.

Roll six or seven whole green bean in bacon strips (cut in half) to make bundles. Place in 9 by 13 pan. Heat remaining ingredients in saucepan until butter is melted. Pour over bundles. Bake covered in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes- then uncover and bake 15 more minutes.

Peel potatoes, cook in large pot with salted water to cover until fork tender. Remove, drain and place in large bowl. Cut butter into small pieces. Add butter and sour cream to bowl. Using an electric mixture, mix until all lumps and gone. Salt and pepper to taste.
Note: Never use a food processor for potatoes, as they will turn to glue in the processor

Measure rice, boiling water, and salt into top of double boiler. Cook over rapidly boiling water until rice is tender, about 40 minutes. Stir in condensed milk, butter, and raisins. Cook, stirring frequently, over boiling water until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm or cold..
